Salmon Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 handful of baby butter lettuce
- ½ cup cooked brown rice
- ¼ cup boiled sweet corn
- ½ avocado, sliced
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 salmon fillet, pan-seared (marinated in fresh orange juice, sriracha, and olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons Maazah Lemon Aioli
Directions
Step 1
Start by cooking ½ cup of brown rice according to the package instructions. Set aside once done.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix fresh orange juice, a dash of sriracha, and olive oil. Marinate the salmon fillet for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the marinated salmon fillet in the skillet, skin side down. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest.
Step 4
In a bowl, create a base with baby butter lettuce and cooked brown rice. Add boiled sweet corn, sliced avocado, and halved cherry tomatoes around the bowl.
Step 5
Place the pan-seared salmon on top of the salad and rice.
Step 6
Finish the bowl by drizzling Maazah Lemon Aioli over the salmon and vegetables. Step 7 Mix everything together and enjoy your fresh, flavorful salmon bowl.
