Naanchos
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of naan bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a cheese blend)
- 1 lb ground chicken (cooked with cilantro and lime)
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1-2 jalapeños, sliced
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tablespoons Maazah Cilantro Chutney
Directions
Step 1
Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
Step 2
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken. Once browned, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3
Place the naan bread on a baking sheet. Lightly toast the naan in the oven for 3-4 minutes, just until slightly crisp but not too hard.
Step 4
Spread an even layer of shredded cheese on top of each naan. Add the cooked cilantro lime ground chicken, then sprinkle with chopped red onions, tomatoes, and jalapeño slices.
Step 5
Return the assembled naanchos to the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Step 6
Once out of the oven, drizzle Maazah Cilantro Chutney generously over the naanchos for an extra burst of flavor and top with fresh chopped cilantro.
